Equipped with a small reflective probe
For some medical and semiconductor applications that require a very small probe for reflection measurement, Avantes offers two standard diameter probe type reflection probes, with diameters of 1.5 and 2.5mm respectively and a length of 100mm.
The light from the illumination source is coupled into a fiber bundle consisting of six 200 μ m optical fibers through a standard SMA905 connector, which are directly connected to the end of the probe. The reflected light on the surface of the sample enters the 7th 200 μ m optical fiber, which transmits the spectral data to the spectrometer through the SMA905 connector.
The specially designed angle fiber optic bracket (AFH-15) for 1.5 mm diameter reflective probes is very useful, as it enables the reflective probe to perform reflection measurements at 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, and 90 degrees.
